Repair Incentive Focus Group: Bayside

Bayside Council is partnering with Monash University and SSROC (Southern Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils) to deliver a year-long research project exploring what people do when household items need repair.

Council invites residents aged 18+ to attend an online focus group to share their views and approaches to when an item stops working.

Participation involves a 90-minute online group discussion with other residents. At the end of the focus group, all participants will receive a $50 gift card. The focus groups will run from mid-April to mid-May 2026.

Participants may also have the opportunity to try a local repair initiative over the coming year. Those who do will be invited to share their experience and receive an additional $50 gift card.

Registrations are essential.
