Repair Work Underway At Endeavour Reserve

MidCoast Council

The restoration of Taree's Endeavour Reserve Public Boating facility commenced earlier this week.

The facility was significantly damaged in the May floods but thanks to funding received under the NSW Boating Infrastructure Emergency Repair Pool it is planned to be back in use in time for the Christmas holidays.

MidCoast Council has received more than $127,000 in funding for the repair work and works have been planned and coordinated with local Powerboat, Dragon Boat and Rowing Clubs.

Funding to the tune of almost $167,000 has also been received for the replacement and associated works of the Cundletown Kendall Reserve public boating facility.

Part of the funding agreement for this work allows for some betterment improvements, meaning the new facility will be constructed to be more resilient during future flood events. This project is expected to get underway during the first half of 2026.

MidCoast Council will continue to advocate for further funding to repair flood impacted infrastructure.
