Replica pistol found during search warrant, man charged, NSW

A replica firearm and illicit drugs have been found during a search warrant on the Central Coast yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 1.30pm (Tuesday 5 June 2018), police from Brisbane Water Police District executed a search warrant at a home on Hillcrest Street, Woy Woy.

Officers allegedly located a replica pistol, cannabis, mobile phones and other items believed to be related to the supply of illicit drugs. All items were secured for forensic analysis.

A 47-year-old man was arrested at the scene. He was taken to Gosford Police Station and charged with supply prohibited drug and possess unauthorised replica pistol.

The man was granted strict conditional bail to appear at Gosford Local Court on Tuesday 12 June 2018.
