Residents Invited to Participate in Council's Community Satisfaction Survey

Leeton Shire Council

Council has engaged the services of Micromex Research to conduct the 2021 Leeton Shire Community Satisfaction Survey, which will be conducted via telephone from around 20 May until 10 June 2021.

Council's Executive Manager IPR, Governance and Engagement Kerrie-Anne Hare said the Community Satisfaction Survey is carried out every two years to assess the community's priorities with regards to services and facilities and to measure levels of satisfaction with Council.

"Micromex Research will be conducting the survey on Council's behalf and will benchmark the results against the results of other regional Council's to give us a clear picture of our performance," Ms Hare said.

Micromex will telephone the landline or mobile numbers of more than 400 randomly selected residents to gain a representative sample of the views of the entire community.

The survey will take around 15-20 minutes to complete and feedback to Council will be anonymous.

Ms Hare encouraged residents to participate in the survey, saying that the survey results will help Council better serve the community.

"We know you are busy but if you receive a call from Micromex Research, please take the time to complete the survey," she said.

"Your participation will provide Council with an extremely useful insight into where we should focus our efforts to improve and meet changing community expectations."
