Residents threatened, NSW

Police are conducting inquiries after residents of a home in Ashmont were threatened with a firearm, NSW Police say.

About 4am yesterday (Tuesday 4 September 2018), a 21-year-old woman and her friend were at a home on Truscott Avenue, when they allege two men attended the home and threatened them with firearms.

In a further incident, about 8pm the same day, the man returned with two other males and became involved in an altercation with the women, also allegedly damaging the woman’s motor vehicle.

The incidents were then reported to police from Wagga Wagga Police District who have commenced inquiries.

The incidents are believed to be targeted.
