The Mayor of Hawkesbury, Councillor Barry Calvert is delighted to announce the launch of the latest Destination NSW marketing campaign promoting the beautiful Hawkesbury region: The River’s Just the Beginning.
“The third phase of the campaign kicks off today, Thursday, 17 September 2020 and builds on the positive results generated by marketing activity in 2018 and 2019. It promotes the stunning Hawkesbury region by showcasing what’s on offer and the amazing experiences available,” Mayor Calvert said.
“The campaign highlights the region as an ideal overnight destination that’s perfect for a weekend getaway.”
The eight week marketing campaign will engage many industry partners to share the story of the Hawkesbury as well as using major billboard advertising across Sydney. The campaign will also feature a well-crafted digital and social media approach with promotion on Facebook, Youtube and Instagram.
“The campaign aims to stimulate The Hawkesbury’s visitor economy by increasing appeal and consideration for The Hawkesbury as a holiday destination,” the Mayor continued.
“We encourage local tourism operators and businesses to get involved in the River’s Just the Beginning campaign.
“Help us spread the word and inspire people to visit the beautiful Hawkesbury!”
