Kempsey Shire Council
Council advises that Armidale Road at the Devils Nook landslip site, approximately 6km east of Bellbrook, will be closed from 6pm today.
The recent wet weather has resulted in large amounts of rocks falling into the barriers with the site vulnerable to further rock falls.
As a safety measure, Council will close the road overnight and will engage specialist contractors to clear the fallen debris as soon as possible.
The road will reopen at 6:30am tomorrow (Friday 26 February) and will be under traffic control.
