There will be a variety of temporary road closures tomorrow, Saturday 25 April 2026 to allow for marches at ANZAC Day commemorations.
Warialda ANZAC March
Area impacted: Hope Street from Holden Street to Hall Street at various times
Hope Street closed from 9:45am except for Stephen Street intersection. Local traffic only.
Full closure of Hope Street from 10:20am to 10:55am. Open Hope Street from Holden Street to Stephen Street at 10:55am. Closure of Hope Street from Stephen Street to Hall Street from 10:45am to 11:15am.
Gravesend ANZAC March
Gwydir Highway, Gravesend will be closed sometime between 8:30am to 9:30am from Moree side of ANZAC Park to Short Street. The road is only expected to be closed for approximately 10 minutes during this time, not the full hour.
Bingara ANZAC March
Western lane closed on Maitland Street and southern lane closed in Finch Street during the March from 10:30am to 10:50am. The procession will start at Sew Much More (Maitland Street), and turn left into Finch Street, and finish at Memorial Park.
