Central Otago Police are asking motorists to be aware of road closures near Ranfurly, as emergency services respond to scrub fires in the area.
State Highway 87 is closed between the intersection with State Highway 85 and Waipiata-Kokonga Road.
Waipiata-Kokonga Road is also closed.
Motorists should avoid travel / take alternative routes where possible.
