Port Stephens Council has officially endorsed its Six-Month Progress Report for July to December 2025. This snapshot tracks Council's performance against the Delivery Program 2025 to 2029, highlighting key wins and milestones from the second half of the year.
General Manager Tim Crosdale said the report is designed to keep the community up to date on where projects and services are up to.
"This report is about being open with our community regarding the status of our projects and services," Mr Crosdale said.
"Roads remain a top priority. We have successfully completed pavement rehabilitation on Medowie Road and Clarence Town Road, significantly improving safety and drainage for our local commuters," Mr Crosdale added.
Beyond the $29 million Roads Acceleration Program, Council is investing in community connection through the 2025–2026 Community Funding Program. This program has provided over $450,000 available in grants and scholarships to support local talent.
July to December 2025 highlights include:
- 222 events held with grant funding support
- 375,000+ visits to One Mile, Birubi and Fingal Bay
- 54,000+ childcare places filled
- 384 library programs delivered
- 396 DA approvals
- $19.7 million roads expenditure
- 10.8 hectares of bush regenerated
- 36,000+ reuse items listed for sale
- 42 new citizens welcomed from 17 countries
