Check out MidCoast Council's scheduled works for roads, bridges and footpaths across the region over the next two weeks.
Council's fortnightly update is a rough guide to when and where roadworks will occur. Allow extra travel time when driving in any of the impacted areas and expect minor delays at most of these locations. Roadwork schedules are subject to change due to contractor availability and weather conditions. Significant projects will have separate updates with additional information.
General roadworks: Kolinda Drive, Old Bar reconstruction; Bushland Drive, Taree - Lawson Crescent to North Street reconstruction; Upper Myall Road, Bulahdelah; drainage line at Patsys Flat Road, Smiths Lake; Diamond Beach Road roundabout; Redhead Road pavement works.

Natural disaster roadworks: Thunderbolts Way- Leslie's Bridge Northern abutment; Thunderbolts Way, landslip repairs north of Giro; Thunderbolts Way, pipe repairs; High Street, Cundletown; Westleys Road; Laurie's Bridge repairs; Scone Road, rack removal; Bowman River Road, rack removal; Koppin Yarratt Road, drainage works; Oxley Island Roads, drainage works; Coolabah Close, Tea Gardens; Myall Street, Tea Gardens; Ogden Street, Tea Gardens; Marine Drive, Tea Gardens.

It's important to remember that pothole patching is a temporary solution to improve road safety in the short-term. Teams work quickly to fill as many potholes as possible when weather permits. The ongoing wet weather has made it difficult to attend to all the pothole locations. More permanent solutions such as the square-shaped repair called 'heavy patching' is undertaken when weather conditions and funding permit.
Grading works on unsealed roads: Bulga Road; Doyles River Road; Yates Road; Murrays Road; Hannam Vale area; Dargavilles Road; Curricabark Road; Manning Hill Road; Norries Road; Prices Creek Road; Monkerai Road; Upper Monkerai Road; Moores Road; various roads in Failford; various roads in Nabiac.
Roadside vegetation management: Kimbriki Road; Gloucester Road; The Bucketts Way; The Lakes Way North; Blackhead Road; various roads across Elands.
