Police are currently searching the Moonah area for two alleged offenders in relation to an attempted robbery at one business and a robbery at another, that occurred within 5 minutes of each other earlier tonight.
Police and emergency services were called to a Moonah business in Albert Road about 7.45pm after a male approached staff and demanded money whilst another remained outside.
A short time later an offender approached staff at a bottleshop in Albert Road Moonah and left with a quantity of cash.
No one was physically injured in either incident.
The offenders are described:
- Offender 1 - tall, skinny, wearing black face mask with white mouth and teeth on the front, all black clothing carrying a knife.
- Offender 2 - tall, skinny yellow hair, long hair, black trackpants, black, white and grey Puma hoodie wearing black shoes.
The men were last seen in the Garden Road area.
