Robbery and wounding, Biggera Waters

Police are seeking public assistance to identify a man in relation to a robbery and wounding in Biggera Waters on Monday morning (June 7).

Police will allege around 6.30am, an unknown man jumped a fence and entered a yard at an address on Thompson Street before climbing into a wheelie bin.

Just before 8am, a male resident of that address located the man in the bin and was subsequently threatened by the offender who demanded his phone and keys.

The two men had a physical altercation, during which the resident sustained a wound to his left hand, before the offender fled on foot with the victim's property.

Investigators have released these images and vision (below) of a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

Investigators urge any witnesses, the man, or anyone who recognises him to come forward and contact police.
