Robbery at Marion, SA

A man has been arrested and police are searching for a second suspect after an aggravated robbery at an electrical goods store at Marion, according to SA Police.

At about 10.10am, police were called to The Good Guys store on Marion Road after reports that two men had entered the store and attempted to steal mobile phones using wire cutters.

One of the men threatened staff with the wire cutters, and another staff member was allegedly assaulted.

Staff members detained the man until police arrived. The other man ran away from the scene in a northerly direction.

No one was seriously injured.

The second suspect is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 175cm tall, 75kg, and was wearing a dark blue baseball cap, black t-shirt with white writing on the front, dark blue Nike tracksuit pants and black sneakers.

Anyone who sees a man matching this description is asked to call the Police Assistance Line on 131444.
