Detectives are investigating a violent robbery incident that occurred at East Mackay early this morning (December 22), Queensland Police say.
At about 4am, a woman left a service station in Victoria Street on foot and was followed by a man to East Gordon Street.
The man confronted the woman and pushed her against a fence, stealing her wallet and phone before fleeing the scene on foot.
The woman received minor injuries only.
Investigations are continuing.
