Robbery with violence at Beerwah

Police are investigating a robbery with violence at a house on Burys Road in Beerwah around 11.30pm last night, November 27.

Initial investigations indicate four males smashed their way into the house via a glass door, while armed with baseball bats and a gun.

They made threats to two occupants of the home before striking the male victim on the arm with a bat, then stealing a quantity of personal items and fleeing the scene.

The 75-year-old man suffered injuries to his arm during the incident.
