Robbery with violence at Northgate, QLD

Detectives have released vision of two men who may be able to assist with their investigations after two people were threatened with a firearm at Northgate on Thursday, September 1, Queensland Police say.

Initial inquires indicate shortly before 1.30am the resident of a house in Sapsford Street has woken when she heard a noise outside. She has opened the door and two men have threatened her with a firearm and entered the house.

A male resident has woken and has also been threatened by the men. They demanded keys to the man’s vehicle and have stolen personal items from the house before leaving the house in the car, a 2016 Ford Mustang Queensland registration SAMMO (pictured).

One of the men is described as solid build, 175cm tall with brown eyes.

The other man is about 160cm tall and of slim build.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have seen any activity around the Sapsford Street area on Thursday, September 1 to contact Crime Stoppers.

Anyone who recognises the men or has further information is also urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
