Robbery with violence at Toowoomba

Police have charged two men, aged 19 and 20, over an alleged robbery with violence at Rangeville on Saturday, January 6.

It will be alleged a 28-year-old woman was reversing a blue Toyota Camry outside an address on Faith Street just before 6am, when she was confronted by two men and forced out of the vehicle.

The men then allegedly left the scene in that vehicle.

The woman received minor injuries during the incident.

It will be further alleged the vehicle was used during a break and enter at a business on Commerce Drive, Browns Plains on January 7.

On January 9, the car was involved in a single vehicle crash at Mort Street, where the two occupants fled the scene.

Police attended and arrested a 19-year-old man and 16-year-old male nearby.

A 19-year-old Oakey man has been charged with multiple offences including robbery with violence, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and four counts of unlicensed driving.

He has been refused police bail and is expected to appear before the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on January 10.

A 20-year-old man has been charged with robbery with violence, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and three counts of stealing.

He has been refused police bail and is expected to appear before the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on January 10.

A 16-year-old male is being dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
