Robbery With Violence, Pimlico

A 13-year-old boy has been arrested following investigations into an alleged assault and stolen vehicle incident in the Townsville suburb of Pimlico last night, May 23.

Investigations indicate around 8.12pm, four unknown offenders assaulted a woman in her 50s in a shopping centre carpark on Woolcock Street.

The four offenders then stole the woman's white Subaru XV and fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The woman sustained bruising and lacerations to her face.

A stolen white Subaru XV was located on Ninth Avenue, Railway Estate early this morning.

A 13-year-old boy has been charged with unlawful entry of a motor vehicle for committing indictable offence and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

The teenager has also been charged with property crime offences relating to alleged unrelated matters.

He has been remanded in police custody to appear in Townsville Childrens Court on Monday, May 26.

Investigators continue to appeal to anyone who may have relevant information, CCTV or dashcam vision to contact them.
