Robbery with violence, Robina

Two boys have been charged after a woman was allegedly dragged from her car on Laver Street at Robina yesterday.

At about 5.30pm, a woman was sitting in her parked vehicle when the driver's side door was opened and the boys allegedly dragged her out and proceeded to punch her.

It will further be alleged the woman's phone was stolen before the boys ran.

Members of the public chased the pair and brought them back to the scene where they were arrested.

A 15 and a 16-year-old boy were both charged with robbery.

The 41-year-old woman was transported to Robina Hospital for treatment to minor facial injuries.
