Rochester Mural Trail Map Showcases 58 Artworks

A new Rochester Mural Trail map has been released, celebrating a vibrant and diverse collection of 58 murals displayed across 22 locations throughout Rochester.

These stunning and varied murals can be found across the township, bringing colour, creativity and storytelling to the heart of the Campaspe region. The trail highlights the community's resilience, artistic talent and local history, offering residents and visitors a unique way to explore Rochester.

The launch of the map coincides with Rochester Mural Festival, running from 21-28 March, further shining a spotlight on the township's strong artistic identity.

Campaspe Shire Mayor Cr Daniel Mackrell said the mural trail offered a great reason for people to visit the town.

"Rochester has become a significant destination for public art, and the Mural Trail showcases the incredible creativity and stories embedded within our community," Cr Mackrell said.

"With the Rochester Mural Festival running from 21 to 28 March, it's the perfect time to release this map and encourage people to explore all 22 mural sites. Increased visitation not only boosts local businesses but also strengthens the pride we share in our town."

The new map highlights each artwork location, offering an easy self‑guided experience for families, art lovers and tourists.

Printed copies of the Rochester Mural Trail map are now available from the visitor information centres in Rochester and Echuca, or you can download the map from Council's website www.campaspe.vic.gov.au or from the Visit Echuca Moama website at www.visitechucamoama.com.au

Visitors are encouraged to pick up a copy of the map, take a stroll through the township and enjoy the many stories brought to life through mural art.
