Liberal Party Victoria

Students at Rolling Hills Primary School will finally get the protection they need from the weather with brand new overhead sports court covers under a Matt Guy Liberals and Nationals Government.

Rolling Hills Primary School, located in Mooroolbark, has almost 400 students, yet has no outdoor covered areas for sports and recreational activities, assemblies, or concerts. This has severely limited the outdoor learning opportunities for this growing school, especially during summer and winter months.

Liberal Member for Evelyn, Bridget Vallence, said she was excited to announce a much-needed $400,000 investment to construct new overhead court covers at Rolling Hills Primary School.

"I've listened to the Rolling Hills Primary school community, including advocacy by the student leaders about how important this project is to enable more opportunities for outdoor learning, all-school assemblies, sports and recreational activities."

"By investing in outdoor court covers at Rolling Hills Primary School, students and staff will get the shelter and protection they need, rain, hail or shine."

"This $400,000 funding commitment for Rolling Hills Primary School is all part of my plan to ensure our local schools and children get the educational facilities they deserve."
