We're undertaking maintenance of a roundabout and nature strip area to support our aims of greening and beautifying Oakleigh.
Works, to take place on Saturday 30 May, include the renewal of the roundabout and splitter island at the intersection of Golf Links Avenue and Princess Street, where we'll be adding topsoil and mulch before carrying-out new planting.
Along Haughton Road, under the bridge area, we'll be adding new gravel to reinstate the nature strip area and eliminate safety hazards.
An excavator and trucks will be onsite to assist with the works at both sites.
We'll have traffic management in place to assist with traffic flow and to safely guide pedestrians and traffic around the work areas. Some traffic delays are anticipated, but access to residential driveways will be maintained throughout the day.
Setting up will commence at 7am with works expected to start at 8am and be concluded by 6pm.
