Overnight on 16th and 17th September 2018 a number of rubbish bins were deliberately damaged by fire in the Launceston area. Tasmania Fire Service attended and were able to extinguish the smouldering bins without incident, Tasmania Police say.
Tasmania Police also attended and are investigating these reports.
Anyone who has information which may assist in identifying the persons responsible are asked to contact Launceston Police Station on 67773945 or anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers.
