Rural Australians for Refugees (Alexandra branch) are hosting a free, 'Myths about Refugees' event at the Alexandra Shire Hall from 7.00 pm on Friday 25 March.
Julian Burnside AO QC , Australian barrister, human rights and refugee advocate and author will be speaking at this event about Australia's inhumane policy towards people seeking political asylum in Australia.
Following the talk there will be a Q & A session and a light supper. This is a FREE, COVIDSafe event with limited seating so reservations are essential.
