Heroku, the cloud platform owned by Salesforce, is experiencing a global outage that has brought key services offline for businesses worldwide.
The disruption has affected authentication systems, deployment pipelines, and Heroku Connect - critical components used to connect data-reliant apps to Salesforce CRM.
The outage is preventing teams from deploying code, accessing applications, and syncing Salesforce data with public-facing platforms.
Salesforce has not yet confirmed the root cause of the disruption or provided a timeline for restoration.
The Heroku status page appeared to be down as well.
On X, formerly Twitter, developers expressed frustration as workflows came to a standstill. Some reported being locked out of Heroku-hosted services entirely.
UPDATE: Salesforce has posted an update on its status page, confirming the issue affecting other services as well.

The issue also impacts Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, MuleSoft, the Salesforce+ site, the Salesforce Chat experience, and Service Cloud. We have also determined that Gov Cloud is not impacted by this issue. We’ll provide an update in 30 minutes or sooner if additional information becomes available.

Investigations have highlighted that the impact radius is broader than initially understood. Marketing Cloud Intelligence, Tableau Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Core, and Hyperforce are also impacted by the issue. We have multiple teams involved and exploring multiple paths to resolution.
