A Salisbury woman has confessed she feels like her late husband is watching over her after scoring $1 million in last Friday's Weekday Windfall draw.

The Adelaide resident held one of three division one winning entries in Weekday Windfall draw 4571, drawn Friday 11 July 2025 and pocketed a clean $1 million.

When we spoke to the merry mother, she was still buzzing with excitement.

"I still can't believe it! I'm so shocked and happy," she said.

"I was with my partner when I discovered the win. He saw the numbers and started going 'Oh my god. You've won!".

"I was in disbelief. I just kept saying 'Stop, stop, stop!'. We had to just sit down and process it all.

"I've been so scared of losing my ticket, but now that I've visited The Lott head office to claim the prize, I feel calmer and it's all starting to feel a bit more real.

"My husband passed away a few years ago, and I truly believe he's looking down at us and making sure I'm okay. It's such a blessing, and I feel so grateful.

"It's an amazing amount of money. I've been through a fair bit in the past few years, but it feels like things are really looking up.

"I've always said I have a feeling I'll win division one, one day."

With a million-dollar mountain heading her way, the thankful mum shared she had plenty of ideas in mind.

"It'll help with a new kitchen for the house," she said.

"I'll also help family and the kids. We'll spoil them a little bit without going overboard.

"Of course, I'll donate too and be sensible.

"The best thing is that it'll just feel easier. There'll be a lot fewer worries."

Her winning entry was purchased from OTR Salisbury North, 102 Waterloo Corner Road, Salisbury North.

OTR Salisbury North spokesperson Yasser Shahin said they wished their winner all the very best with their prize.

"We love seeing our customers score a lottery prize. They've always got some fun things planned for their windfalls. I'm sure this winner is no different," he said.

"It's great to see another win in our outlet and we can't wait to do it again!"
