Samurai swords produced during service station robbery - Georges Hall

Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command have commenced an investigation following the robbery of a service station at Georges Hall last night.

About 9.10pm (Sunday 8 March 2020), a 48-year-old man was working at a service station on Henry Lawson Drive, Georges Hall, and was in the process of closing the business for the night

As he was leaving the premises he was confronted by two men, who had their faces covered and brandishing samurai swords, who threatened him and pushed him back inside the store.

The men forced the employee to open the cash register and hand over a sum of cash.

The men fled the location in a black utility that was waiting outside.

Police were called, and a crime scene was established.
