Hobson's Bay Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the theft of a speed boat and trailer from Laverton in May.
The black, red and white Scarab speed boat and its trailer were stolen from outside a business on Oakdene Grove on Friday 21 May about 5.15pm.
Investigators believe a male offender attached the boat and trailer to a Toyota Hilux Tray utility before leaving.
Police have released an image of the boat and a man they believe may be able to assist with the investigation.
