Scheduled network outage

Major network maintenance and outage will take place on Saturday 27 February 2021 from 8.00am to 7.00pm AEDT as part of a core network device upgrade.

College-wide systems and applications will be impacted with a major outage occurring on Saturday morning and intermittent outages throughout the day.

The network upgrade would allow for replacement of end of life network device, improved general network performance and security and improved and robust AV network.

Impact details

During the scheduled outage, all internal and public facing applications will be offline. This includes the following:

  • Access to the RACS website
  • Access to applications that require a login:
    • Portfolio, eCommittees, Library, MALT, CPD, BAS and eLearning
    • Registration & Enrolments, IMG Online Application, IMG Progress Report, Mini-CEX and DOPS, Provider Portal.
  • Citrix (CHASM and RACS)

Melbourne office:

  • Core Systems: Sharepoint, iMIS and Greatplains etc
  • AV Systems
  • Internet and Wireless Access
  • Citrix and VPN access
  • Printing
  • Phone System (Mitel)
  • R and U Drives

STANZ offices:

  • Core Systems: Sharepoint, iMIS and Greatplains etc
  • Citrix and VPN access
