SeaFire Returns To Light Up Surfers Paradise

Poland and Canada will compete at this year's SeaFire event

SeaFire will return to Surfers Paradise Beach this year bringing a night of world-class fireworks and family friendly entertainment to the Gold Coast.
The much-loved free annual event in its 13th year will transform the beachfront into a vibrant celebration of light, colour and sound on Saturday 20 June.
"SeaFire is set to ignite the Surfers Paradise foreshore once again," said Mayor Tom Tate.
"We're expecting around 40,000 people to gather along the beachfront and enjoy the ultimate fireworks displays from some of the best in the world.
"We are excited to welcome teams from Canada and Poland to this year's event who will compete for the title before a spectacular Australian-themed finale."
Fireworks will take place across the evening at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm.
Each display will showcase music, choreography, special effects and colour all of which will be judged on the night, along with audience popularity, to select the winner.
Arrive early to secure a spot on the sand and make a night of it, with Surfers Paradise offering everything from beachfront dining, accommodation and the perfect staycation just steps from the beach.
Leave the car at home and catch the G:link to Cavill Avenue, with extra services running before and after the event.
Tune in to 102.9 Hot Tomato to enjoy the synchronised fireworks soundtrack.
SeaFire is a free community event and a highlight of the Gold Coast events calendar.
