Police will be coordinating a search this morning at Mitchell Creek after a man failed to return from a fishing trip, Queensland Police say.
The 43-year-old man was last seen at Mitchell River yesterday at around 3.30pm and he intended to go fishing before meeting with a group of associates later in the afternoon.
Police were contacted at 9pm last night when the man failed to return.
Overnight, police conducted a number of enquiries but the man remains outstanding.
Crews will begin a search at the site at first light.
