Search and rescue, Condamine Farms area

Police are currently coordinating an air and land search for two men believed to be missing in the Western Creek State Forest area, near Condamine Farms, west of Millmerran.

A group of three men set out into the area on motorbikes on Saturday afternoon.

Two men, aged 37 and 42, became separated from their 40-year-old companion while travelling through the rural area.

The 40-year-old man was unable to locate or contact the other two men, and upon arriving back this morning alerted authorities.

Search efforts began at about 6:30 this morning Monday January 31 including Polair, police officers on foot, bikes and ATVs and State Emergency Services volunteers.

Officers are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area, or may have seen the men to please contact police.
