Police are continuing to appeal for public assistance to locate 36-year-old registered sex offender Robert Crilly.
Crilly is wanted on warrant for failing to comply with his reporting obligations.
Police made a public appeal on Tuesday for information about Crilly, however he is yet to be located.
It's believed that he is living in the Shepparton area.
However recent information indicates Crilly may currently be in metropolitan Melbourne, in particular the Coburg and Pascoe Vale areas.
Investigators believe he is actively avoiding police.
He was last seen by police in December 2020 when he was served with a court order.
Investigators have released an image of Crilly in the hope someone may recognise him and have information on his current whereabouts.
Crilly is Caucasian in appearance, about 189cm tall, with a solid build, short brown hair, hazel eyes, a dragon tattoo on his left shoulder and the name "JACKY" tattooed on the back of his neck.
Anyone who sights Crilly is urged to contact triple zero (000) immediately.
