Search for Melton West teen Bahkita Chol

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a missing Melton West teenage girl, Victoria Police say.

Bahkita Chol was last seen leaving her home on Carramar Drive around 5pm on Tuesday 26 December.

It is understood she was travelling to a Rosamond Road shopping centre in Maribyrnong before heading to the CBD.

Police have concerns for the 14-year-old’s welfare given her young age.

Bahkita is described as being of African appearance, about 200cm tall with a thin build, long black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black turtle neck dress, a black jacket with a white emblem and black/white shoes.

Police have also released a photo of Bahkita in the hope someone can provide information regarding her current whereabouts.
