Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing 35-year-old man Fahmy Bakesy, Victoria Police say.
Fahmy was last seen on Bell Street, Heidelberg Heights outside of the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital where he boarded the 903 bus towards Mordialloc just after 3.30pm.
Police and family have concerns for his welfare due to a medical condition.
He is African in appearance, about 170cm tall with dark brown medium length hair. (Longer than depicted in the photo below)
Fahmy was last seen wearing a grey hooded top, grey tracksuit pants and thongs.
Police have released an image of Fahmy in the hope someone may recognise him and be able to provide information on his whereabouts.
He is known to frequent the Melbourne CBD and West Melbourne.
Anyone who sights Fahmy is urged to contact Heidelberg Police Station on 9450 8000.
