Police are appealing for public assistance to locate missing 56-year-old St Kilda man Gerald VanDerWerf, Victoria Police say.
It is believed Gerald has driven to the Grampians in the past 48 hours and was travelling in his grey 2005 Toyota Hilux with Victorian registration TSV 522.
The Toyota has since been located by police in a car park on Grampians Road, Bellfield, near Halls Gap.
Police and Gerald’s family hold concerns for his welfare as he has a medical condition.
Investigators have released an image of Gerald in the hope that someone may recognise him and provide information on his current whereabouts.
Gerald is described as Caucasian, with a thin build and short greying hair.
