Search for missing man in Alligator Creek National Park, QLD

A search is underway for a 43-year-old man reported missing in Alligator Creek National Park since yesterday, Queensland Police say.

Gregory Vince (pictured) was last in contact with family at 2.30pm yesterday with his car being located later that day at an address on Alligator Creek Road, Mount Elliot.

Police hold concerns for the man’s welfare as he suffers from a medical condition.

Initial investigations indicate the man may be in the Alligator Creek National Park area.

An air search utilising the QG-Air helicopter was conducted yesterday evening, however the man was unable to be located.

A land search will begin this morning in the Alligator Creek National Park area utilising the QG-Air helicopter, police on motorcycles and SES members.

Any members of the public who have seen the man or have information in relation to his whereabouts are asked to contact police.
