A search is ongoing for a man missing at Wattamolla Beach.
Police were contacted about 6.15pm (Tuesday 29 January 2019), when the 21-year-old man, an Indian National, went missing after he was seen swimming in the lagoon area about an hour earlier.
Officers from Sutherland Police Area Command, the Dog Squad, and Police Rescue attended and commenced a sea and land search.
It remains unclear if the man went missing in the water or on land.
Police divers are currently on scene, however the man has not yet been located.
