Search for missing sisters in Albanvale

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Albanvale sisters Chynah and Summer Liumaihetau, Victoria Police say.

Chynah, 13, and Summer, 12, were last seen in Albanvale on 19 August.

Police believe the pair is in the company of their mother Helen Liumaihetau.

An image of the sisters has been released in the hope someone recognises them and can provide information on their whereabouts.

Police and family members hold concerns for both girls’ welfare.

They are known to use the rail network and frequent Coburg and Melbourne’s northern and western suburbs.

Chynah is described as being about 160cm tall with an olive complexion, medium build, long black hair, brown eyes and a labret piercing.

Summer is described as being about 160cm tall with an olive complexion, medium build, long black hair with brown tip and brown eyes.

Anyone who sights Chynah or Summer or has information on their whereabouts is urged to contact Keilor Downs Police Station on 9365 3333.
