A search operation is underway to locate a man missing in the state's Lake Macquarie region.
Aaron Manser, aged 43, was last seen walking with two Dachshund dogs on a track near the Pines Camping Area, off Watagans Forest Road, Watagans State Forest, about 5.30pm on Saturday 24 January 2026.
When he did not return as expected, officers attached to Lake Macquarie Police District were notified.
Police have commenced a multi-agency search operation to locate him, with assistance from PolAir, Police Rescue, NSW SES and the Rural Fire Service.
Aaron is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 178cm tall with medium-large build and short grey/brown hair, and has a number tattoo on his outer left bicep.
He was last seen wearing a maroon shirt and black shorts.
Anyone who has sighted Aaron is urged to contact Lake Macquarie police or call 000 (Triple-Zero) immediately.
