Police are searching for a man missing after kayaking on Tallebudgera Creek this morning.
The last confirmed sighting of Chris Dicker, 28, was in the creek when he went in about 7am.
The kayak was subsequently located on the western side of the bridge with a pair of scuffs in it, but no paddle.
It is not known whether the kayak was washed up or it was dragged up to its current position.
Police and family are concerned for the welfare of Mr Dicker as he is intellectually impaired and has a medical condition.
Mr Dicker is described as Caucasian, with a slim build and has light brown hair and blue eyes.
An aerial sweep of the area, plus searches on the nearby beach have failed to locate the man.
Anyone who may have seen him or knows of his whereabouts is urged to contact police.
