Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy reported missing from the state's Hunter region.
Tahj Chate, aged 13, was last seen on Charles Street, Blackalls Park, about 7am on Monday 26 January 2026.
When he could not be located, officers attached to Lake Macquarie Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for his welfare due to his young age.
Tahj is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150cm tall with slim build, and blond hair in a mullet-syle haircut.
He is known to frequent the Sydney CBD and used the Sydney train network.
