Search warrant results in charges, East Toowoomba

Police have arrested a man after executing a search warrant in East Toowoomba yesterday.

Shortly before 4.30pm police attended a Lindsay Street address where a 26-year-old East Toowoomba man was taken into custody for outstanding matters.

The man has been charged with multiple offences including possessing dangerous drugs, unlawful use of motor vehicles, dangerous operation of a vehicle, two counts of obstructing a police officer, entering a premise to commit an indictable offence, wilful damage and driving whilst disqualified.

He will appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court later today.
