Searchfor two men after Oak Park cafe burglary

Detectives from the Moreland Crime Investigation Unit have released CCTV footage in the hope to identify two men following a burglary at a café in Oak Park earlier this month.

Investigators believe two male offenders used a mallet to smash through the front window of a café about 6.45am on Saturday, 8 May.

The pair stole a packet of cigarettes before fleeing on foot towards Vincent Street.

Investigators have released CCTV footage and images of two men who they believe can assist with their enquiries.

The first man is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, solid build and was wearing blue/black MOPAR hooded jumper with white writing on it, blue jeans, a blue surgical mask and was carrying a blue cooler bag.

The second man is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, tall, and was wearing black tracksuit pants, a green camouflage bandana on his face, a black hat, black Nike runners and cream gloves with blue palms.
