Second Arrest in Mount Druitt Stabbing: Strike Force

A second man has been charged over an alleged stabbing in Sydney's west earlier this week.

On Tuesday 24 June 2025, officers attached to Mount Druitt Police Area Command established Strike Force Leeman to investigate an alleged stabbing at a shopping centre on Carlisle Avenue, Mount Druitt.

A 17-year-old boy and a 22-year-old man had suffered stab wounds during an alleged affray before they were taken to hospital in a stable condition.

Police have charged an 18-year-old man since they commenced an investigation into the incident.

Following further inquiries, about 11.10am today (Thursday 26 June 2025), strike force detectives arrested a 20-year-old man at a home on Luxford Road, Whalan.

He was taken to Mount Druitt Police Station where he was charged with affray.

The man was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court tomorrow (Friday 27 June 2025).

The investigation under Strike Force Leeman continues.
