Second cohort of maritime women join leadership programme

The second cohort of future female leaders* have joined the Leadership Accelerator Programme (LEAP) run by Maritime SheEO. IMO is again sponsoring twenty students, under its Women In Maritime programme. The course is designed to equip women with leadership skills and the confidence to progress in their careers. The course launched on 15 September 2022 and will run for a period of eight weeks. Students will complete a wide range of modules on building professional networks, strategic thinking, persuasive communication and more. * Students taking part are from the following countries: 

Algeria, Cameroon, Chile, Djibouti, Dominican Republic (the), Ghana, Guyana, Jamaica, Kenya, Malaysia, Mauritius, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Tunisia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
