Second Man Arrested After Murder At Croydon Park Home

A second man has been arrested following an investigation into the alleged murder of a man in Croydon Park yesterday.

Just after 5pm (Monday 2 June 2025), emergency services were called to a home on Kembla Street, Croydon Park, following reports of an alleged stabbing.

On arrival officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command found the body of a man inside the home with alleged stab wounds to his neck.

He is yet to be formally identified; however, police believe he is a 29-year-old Malaysian national.

Strike Force Buchanan was established to investigate the circumstances surrounding the man's death.

A 32-year-old man has since been charged with murder and remains before the courts.

Following extensive inquiries and an appeal for public information, officers arrested a 36-year-old man at Burwood Police Station, about 6.50pm (Tuesday 3 June 2025).

Inquiries continue.
