Second man arrested after Prahran shooting

Homicide Squad detectives have arrested an 18-year-old man in Southbank in relation to the fatal shooting at a Prahran nightclub in April.

Detectives executed a search warrant at Linacre Drive, Bundoora about 10.20am.

The Bundoora man is currently in custody and assisting police with their enquiries.

Police yesterday charged a 25-year-old man with accessory after the fact to murder/assist principal offender, prohibited person possess firearm, stalking, make threats to kill and other offences.

He has been remanded to appear before Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 2 July.

Two people were killed during the incident on 14 April and another four people were injured.

Detectives are continuing to appeal for anyone with information about the shooting or a number of vehicles believed to be connected to it, to come forward.

The investigation remains ongoing.
