Second Man Charged After Dandenong South Fatal Crash

Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit have charged a second man following a fatal crash in Dandenong South last month.

Detectives executed a warrant at a Hampton Park address on 8 July and arrested a 21-year-old man.

It is alleged he was racing one of the vehicles involved in the fatality at the time of the crash.

He has been charged with culpable driving and dangerous driving.

He has been bailed to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 10 July.

A 21-year-old from Cranbourne West was previously charged with culpable driving and dangerous driving causing death in relation to the crash on the South Gippsland Highway on 26 June about 1.50am.

A 21-year-old man from Cranbourne died as a result of the crash.
